came across this article and it reminds fed me of my first airplane ride and first 4-H Exchange
We visited this area and there is a rich history here with the Indians, some famous ones camped in these areas during the persecution that happened in the USA.
Checked the maps, certainly is the area that I visited over 4 decades ago.
Maple Creek - they lived in this area, had the big stack hay method - Maine Anjou cattle
Swift Current - Fairgrounds
Harold Hampton was my 4-H counterpart. I did a search a while back and his dad recently passed . Will continue to see if I can reconnect over time.
