Three Giant Tiger company officials will take the stage at the 11th Annual Leeds Grenville Economic Development Summit to share with the audience the challenges and many wins they faced in building their world-class, state-of-the-art Distribution Centre in Johnstown.
Mike Quinn, Giant Tiger's V.P. of Warehousing and Distribution, John Hubbard, V.P. of Distribution Operations, and James Johnstone, Associate V.P. of Transportation, will talk about the implementation challenges at the large facility, what they learned and what strides they've made with technology and new processes in both Distribution and Transportation.

Well, one piece of advise we got was to reach out to our ministers regarding issues we find around red tape or any matter for that matter. It didn't take long before I found a problem in government, wasn't even 24 hours, now don't laugh ... will see how it works out .... In the meantime here is the story and the warning, print before you save , this applies to most things, and don't worry about the tree , think about your time ... and I like that quote I found, let's persevere ~ Tim ( PS this is not too personal of a senerio here, so I'm sharing and I am hopefull for a satisfactory conclusion.
"Hi Renee, hoping you can please send this off to Steve and Prabmeet ( and MPAC tech folks if that will solve the problem )
Thanks
Tim

Gentlemen , the next day I find something ! ( Thanks for great presentations yesterday in Kemptville, by the way )
Ok, so I download the form, fill it out, save it so I can use it later, may be I need to review it and fix something, and then the work I did is gone, so I can not send it, review it, only course is to start all over again, and it better be perfect, or I got to do it all over again, fortunately I printed it to my printer before I saved it, so this really should change, a fillable, saveable form would be a good idea for all departments to implement, I know it is possible, and I know that it is a simple feature that is probably turned off on most government forms, for sure this one, I am sure that this has happened to me before, and I’m working in a pretty good office, I would be at a lost if I was at home, so the tools need to work for everyone. Timothy Ross , keep working on the red tape, there is some things that need to stick, pdf’s for sure Nov 23, 2019 6:11 am ( an hour of my life poof ! )
