Trudeau Make The Call

A little social challenge in todays post. A plea to sign a petition to help a young family and a gofundme page to help them with their plight.

Bring Ayo Home, Go Fund Me Page

The Moran's are now over 100 days in Ghana waiting for our Canadian High Commissioner to approve the paperwork that will allow the family to bring their newly adopted son Ayo home. We started a petition yesterday encouraging Trudeau to make the call to get this done. We will post a link below for you to review. We admonish you to sign the petition and share with your friends, the government continues to pass the buck on this, we need to keep them accountable. Also please give as you are lead in your spirit and as your budget permits. May be you cover a half day like we did or simply a few hours of a day, everything helps. These delays are costing them $200 a day and with these excessive delays, the financial burden has exceeded all expectations. There is a video link in the petition that we encourage you to watch. Thank you Timothy Ross & Megan Elizabeth

We have 32 supporters as of writing this blog. It often takes a few days to build momentum.

Problem
"Kim Moran has been stuck in Africa for the past three months waiting for Ottawa to process documents and is now pleading for help. She said the adoption is complete but that the government is failing in its responsibility to bring them home.

“Everything they have asked for we have given them. We’ve had all the forms authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, all the forms are in order,” she told Global News via Skype. “This is a process that in most places, would have only taken a week.”

Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, Kim requires a special diet and medication. Her mother said the ordeal has been hard on her health. “It needs to be monitored every month,” Cindy Jeans said from her home in Port Hope, Ont.
“She needs to get home to see her specialist to get the proper care that she needs.”

The above has been extracted from the report on Global News, see the link for more details& video: https://globalnews.ca/news/4630903/canadian-family-adoption-baby-africa/
The Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, is well aware of this situation! Please click the link below and watch !! Question was asked last week when they would act to bring this family home in the Question Period at the House of Commons

Trudeau simply needs to make the call!!

Solution
These Canadians have respected the rules, which began over three years ago. They have been approved , and this should have taken no more than 7-10 days to be cleared. We are now over 100 days!! The application simply needs to be approved so that they can come home with their adopted son, Ayo. It's being held up by the Canadian process, not Ghana. Justin Trudeau, 613-992-4211 or justin.trudeau@parl.gc.ca, needs to make the call to the Canadian High Commissioner in Accra, Ghana ,
Ms. Heather Ann Cameron.

Personal story
We have watched this unfold and are very concerned for the Moran family. Tim has known Clark and Kim since they were teenagers at Highway Pentecostal Church and watched them grow up, get married, seen them launched into Ministry and seen their struggles with Kim's MS, and we celebrated their courageous and loving decision to adopt a child. It is heart breaking to see the delays, and agonize over the health, the incredible financial stress our government has inflicted on this young family because of these needless delays. We have reached out to those that should have been able to encourage a resolution through normal channels , however there has been nothing done. We feel a petition should be created to bring additional awareness to this problem. It is affecting other families as well. As a nation we need to stand and support those that want to make a positive difference in a child's life. Thank you for your support by signing this petition and encouraging others to do so as well. Megan & Tim Ross

Unfortunately BT did not ask the questions raised by the hundreds that asked. We reviewed the questions and the majority tweeted were for this request and were simply ignored. It would appear the scrip was kept tight and this was not raised.

Thanks for your efforts. Please continue to share this petition. We hope and pray that the Moran's are united before Christmas, before this petition reaches 25,000

In conversation please share www.TrudeauMakeTheCall.com or www.BringAyoHome.com these links will bring people to the petition directly.
Please add @JustinTrudeau @HCameronGH @Ahmen.Hussen to all your social media messages, this helps bring awareness to their followers

Phone calls to their respective offices is also appreciated. This helps confirm that real people are concerned and want this to be resolved. When you call, be polite, engage them for as long as you want. Make it their problem, they will find a solution. However, remember they are not above changing the facts, they have already updated websites to reflect the talking points, that is who you are dealing with at the top, not saying clarity is wrong, just that they are well aware, yet are not responding.

We continue to reach out directly to the High Commissioner in Accra Ghana and are hopeful that our Canadian Representative will respond to our diplomatic requests to make this paperwork happen in time for Christmas.

Once again, thank you for your help, your engagement and your prayers.

“Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord. He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come. He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land. "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit."” - Jer17:5-8‬

PHOTO CONTEXT: I took this picture the first day here without Kim. The goal wasn’t to snap some emotionally-stirring selfie for sympathy. Quite honestly I felt lonely and incapable. I sobbed through a workout on the balcony of the home I’m staying in and it was in that moment I felt His presence so close and I was reminded that He was on this, over it and in it with me. I was reminded he walks with me “through” all things. So I set my phone up to take a picture knowing there would come times where I’d need to be reminded where my strength and hope is found!

Well thank you ! With over 20,000 signatures on our petition we have brought a great awareness of the Moran family’s plight.

Unfortunately, we still are pleading with our Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to make the call.

Powerful personal in person appeals have been ignored. Our Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Ahmed Hussen is ignoring the pleas. Her Excellency Ms Heather Cameron, our countries High Commissioner in Accra Ghana, who Tim has personally discussed the matter with, and is well aware of the matter, advises she does not have the power to grant a visa. Many might not be surprised that the government actually changed their immigration website a few days after the story originally broke to keep the government talking points straight. So much energy, and money being wasted by our representatives for this matter and such a simple request.

Frankly, our Canadian government has simply failed this family.
Yet, we still need to keep asking, bring our people home, #BringAyoHome .

So, this morning ( Friday Dec 14th 10 days before Christmas ) we are asking once again to #BringAyoHome so he and his family can be reunited for Christmas.
Justin Trudeau will be on BT TV in Toronto answering questions by Twitter.

So please turn on your twitter feeds and start asking some questions.

#PMONBT Why have you not made the call ? Trudeau make the call! Let’s get Ayo and Cark home for Christmas! @JustinTrudeau @HCameronGH @ahmedhussen

Let’s make this the conversation today on Breakfast TV

Please continue to share the petition with your network of friends, family and associates. Talk about wwwTrudeauMakeTheCall.com and Let’s www.BringAyoHome .com

Include @JustinTrudeau @HCameronGH and @ahmedhussen this will get to their precious social media platforms.
For those that are able and wish to contribute to a fund that has been established to help the Moran’s deal with the huge financial crisis these delays have caused, please click through to the following link. https://www.gofundme.com/bringinghomeayo

    Thank you
    Tim & Megan

"THIS WAS NOVEMBER 24TH // WE’RE STILL WAITING - Clark Moran
It’s hard to believe sometimes that this is life as we know it at present. But we do believe in miracles, we’ve seen and been fortunate to witness and hear of too many to question. And each of those stories build faith for moments such as this ... we’re still hopeful, that we’ll all be home for Christmas!
